I remember quite well when I was a teacher, I had so much difficulty looking for learning resources. That time, only the textbook and teacher's manual were available as provided by the school. And I had to go to downtown Manila to purchase old hardbound books and worktext from my meager salary so as to provide quality teaching to my students. Now, gone are the days when learning text and other references are barely available. With the advent of technology, Deped has introduced a search facility known as learning resource portal. The said welcome development is of great help to the teachers. Learning resources are available on-line for free and may be accessed anytime. Teachers may create an LRDMS portal account and thereafter, may download learning materials, TGs, and CGs, or may even share or exchange learning exercises and modules from other teachers. Teachers may now focus on teaching and the learners and to other meaningful tasks.
